Network Setting

1. What is an network

On the Network page, you can select and add an network that is suitable for your product traffic. TopOn supports you to send requests to multiple networks to help you maximize your ad monetization revenue.

On the network page, you can do:

  • Add/Edit network
  • Ad platform multi-account configuration
  • View network data
  • AD Source Setting

 

2. How to operate the network

2.1 Add/Edit Network

The selection of network needs to be considered from multiple angles, including product traffic regional distribution, ad type, etc. If you have any questions, please contact us for assistance and suggestions.

Click [+Network Account] in the upper left corner to enter the page for adding an network

(1) Select an network

Platforms that support automatic creation of ad sources will display the AUTO logo

(2) Choose whether to enable the report API.

  • It is recommended to enable all report APIs, which can be used for timely data extraction and automatic optimization sorting.
  • For some network accounts in mainland China that do not have report API permissions, you can temporarily choose not to enable it.
  • Fill in the platform account parameters and refer to the "How to find the parameters?" in the lower left corner for instructions.

 

2.2 Network multi-account configuration

A TopOn account can be bound to multiple accounts of the same network, and the Reporting API of multiple accounts can be set.

For example: A TopOn account can be bound to 2 Admob accounts.

(1) Network→Add network

When adding multiple accounts to the same network, please customize the account name for easy identification.

(2) After creation, you can see that one platform corresponds to two network accounts

(3) Select the network account and click "AD Source Setting" to enter the Add Ad Source page to complete the configuration of ad source parameters.

 

2.3 View Network Data

After the game is launched, you can view the network data intuitively on this page. The indicators include: Revenue, Impressions API, Clicks API, CTR API.

 

2.4 AD Source Setting

After adding an network, you can click to enter the corresponding ad source setting page, where you can add and edit mediation network app IDs (Edit mediation network app IDs can only be done on this page) and add, edit, and delete mediation ad sources.

Add ad source

(1) Select the corresponding network and enter the ad source setting page.

(2) Add parameter information such as account name/app ID.

  • Parameter information varies for different platforms.
  • Application ID refers to the app ID corresponding to the app created in the network background. Each network may call it differently, such as Faecbook calls it app number.
  • How to obtain the corresponding parameters? Please refer to the document according to the prompts on the page.

(3) Add an ad source and fill in the corresponding parameters, such as the placement ID.

  • The placement ID refers to the placement ID created in the network background. Different networks have different names.
  • How to obtain the corresponding parameters? Please refer to the document according to the prompts on the page.

If you need to add multiple ad sources at the same time, you can use the [Batch add Ad source] function

(4) Fill in the price.

You can set different prices for different segments

(5) Click Confirm.

Capping and Pacing are not mandatory items, so they can be left blank on this page.

 

3. FAQ

(1) Will the new version affect users of the old version if a new network is added to the new version?

No. If the old version user has configured the ad source of the new network in the waterfall, the ad source will be skipped and the request will be continued.

(2) Is the Report API required to be enabled?

  • If the platform that supports it is best to enable it, otherwise the revenue will not be sent back to the TopOn backend.
  • If it is difficult to obtain the report API permission for some domestic platforms, you can temporarily not enable it and upload it manually later.
