Helium is Chartboost's head bidding platform. Helium not only supports the head bidding of the Chartboost, but also supports the head bidding of Facebook, Adcolony, and Tapjoy. You can add the head bidding of the above platforms according to your needs.
Step1. Create Helium Account
① login in Chartboost , and click Set up Mediation.
② If you can’t find the entrance to Helium, please contact Chartboost business staff to activate
Step2. Create Helium Apps and Placements
(1) create Apps in Apps --> Overview
Note: Apps must be listed on the AppStore or Google Play to use Helium to generate revenue. Helium will automatically synchronize apps created on Charboost
(2) create Placement in Apps --> Placements
Create corresponding Placements according to the application advertising scenarios.
③ (Optional) create Networks in Apps --> Networks
In addition to Chartboost(Helium) Header Bidding, you can also add Facebook, Adcolony, Tapjoy Header Bidding in Networks
Note: After adding the head bidding configuration of Facebook, Adcolony, Tapjoy, please contact the Helium staff to confirm whether it takes effect
Step3. Configure Helium's Report API
(1) To enable Helium's reporting API, you need to obtain two parameters: User ID and User signature.
Find out User ID and User signature in Resources --> API Explorer
(2) Configure the Helium Report API in TopOn
① Navigate to TopOn→ Network→ New Network (Chartboost & Helium) → Edit (Report API = ON
② Fill in User ID and User Signature in TopOn
Step4. Configure Helium on TopOn
(1) The following three parameters of Helium need to be configured on the TopOn to display Helium ads and display Helium data through TopOn:
① Find out the App ID and App Signature in Apps --> Overview
② Find out the Placement Name in Apps --> Placements
(2) Configure Helium's parameters in TopOn
① Navigate to TopOn→Network→AD Source Setting(Chartboost)→Add Ad Source
② Fill in theAPP ID , APP signature and Ad Location of the Chartboost corresponding to TopOn's APP
Step5. Add Helium adapter to your code
(1) Download Chartboost & Helium SDK in TopOn SDK Integration Tool . Chartboost SDK already includes Helium SDK
