Upload Network Report Data

1. Functional Overview

(1) Normally, you can enable automatic data retrieval by configuring the Network API parameters. However, some Networks have set thresholds for activating the reporting API. The Repotring API cannot be activated before the requirements are met. In this case, developers are required to manually upload network data to our TopOn backend so that we can assist you in making further adjustments and optimizations.

(2) Mainly concentrated in the Chinese mainland network, such as CSJ, Tencent Ads (Youlianghui), Baidu Union Ads, and Kuaishou Ads . Therefore, if you have integrated and used these networks but have not yet opened the reporting API, you can follow the steps below to manually upload data to the TopOn backend.

(3) If you need to upload data for a custom network, please refer to the Data Template section for Custom Networks .

 

2. Operation Instructions

2.1 Export data from the network

Tip: TopOn backend limits uploading data to 31 days at a time, and the file size is within 5MB

 

● CSJ

(1) Log in to the CSJ backend, select Ad Monetization -> Data -> Ad Data Report

(2) Data dimension selection for data reports: time, code position

(3) Select the time period for which you want to import data, which should not exceed 31 days. After selecting, click Filter and then Export List.

(4) The downloaded report is in xlsx format and can be directly uploaded to the TopOn backend without any processing.

CSJ backend version:

 

● Tencent Ads (Youlianghui)

(1) Log in to the Youlianghui backend and select Data Revenue -> Advertising Data

(2) Select the time period for which you want to import data. The maximum period is 31 days.

(3) Select date , media , and placement in the breakdown dimension, and select the following indicators in the custom data report:

(4) After selecting, click Query and then download the report

(5) The downloaded report is in csv format and can be directly uploaded to the TopOn backend without any processing.

 

●  Baidu Union Ads

(1) Log in to the Baiqingteng backend, enter the application cooperation on the homepage, and select Data Report -> Advertising Alliance Report -> Custom Report

(2) Select the time period for which you want to import data, which should not exceed 31 days. After selecting, click Query , then Download Report , and select CSV file to save in the Download Settings.

(3) The downloaded report is in csv format and can be directly uploaded to the TopOn backend without any processing.

(4) The downloaded csv format can also be saved as xlsx format and then uploaded directly to the TopOn backend

(5) You do not need to select the application type and code position type. You can choose to add all code positions.

 

● Kuaishou Ads

(1) Log in to the Kuaishou Ads backend and select Data Center- > Advertising Data

(2) Data dimension selection: date, application, placement, system, access method

(3) Select the time period for which you want to import data, which should not exceed 31 days. After selecting, click Search and then download the report.

(4) The downloaded report is in csv format and can be directly uploaded to the TopOn backend without any processing.

 

● Huawei Ads

(1) Log in to Huawei backend and select [My Reports]

(2) [Currency selection] : CNY or USD

(3) [Data dimension] : Country, Media, Presentation format, The name of the placement, Placement ID, and date

(4) [Column configuration] (indicator options): Check the corresponding indicators as shown in the figure (refer to the column configuration in the figure below) 

(5) Select the time period for which you want to import data, up to 31 days. When you're done, click [Download the report]

(6) The downloaded report is in csv format, and can be uploaded directly to the TopOn backend without any processing

 

● Customized network

Please download the data template first: click here to download , and then copy the relevant data of the custom network into the template according to the template format.

The following is a description of the format of each column field in the template:

① Date : The format is "20200807", which means the data on August 7, 2020, and the maximum period is no more than 31 days

② Ad source parameters : must be consistent with the ad source parameters filled in by the developer backend, and data matching is achieved based on this field

③ Region : The format is "CN", which means Mainland China. Please refer to this document to fill in the country code . It is not case sensitive.

④ Revenue , display , click : based on the custom network data, just copy it directly

 

Precautions:
(1) The cells of the data file must be in a regular format and can be adjusted uniformly after copying.
(2) You can use Excel's CONCAT or CONCATENATE function to concatenate the original ID of the custom network into a string of TopOn background advertising source parameters. For specific usage methods, click to view the official Excel documentation of these two functions.

(3) The uploaded data table cannot exceed 6 columns, and there must be no spaces before and after each item in the table.

 

2.2 TopOn background upload data

(1) Enter the Upload Network Report page under Advanced Functions

(2) Click the Upload button in the upper left corner, select the firm, report currency, and area, upload report, and click Confirm.

(3) After the system completes the processing, you can check whether the processing is successful. If the processing fails or the data start/end date does not display a specific time, please check whether the exported data report format is correct according to the help document; if the processing still fails after confirming that the format is correct, please contact us for assistance.
