Note: Xiaomi Columbus only supports Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO chassis to request ads. Other chassis will not initiate Xiaomi Columbus ad requests. Therefore, in the same placement, the number of inquiries for Columbus bidding ad sources may be less than that of other bidding ad sources.

 

Step1. Create a Xiaomi Columbus account

Go to Xiaomi Columbus to create an account and log in.

 

Step2. Add apps and placements in Xiaomi Columbus backend

(1) Add apps

Go to the [App] List page, click the [Add App] button, and follow the platform prompts to add your App.

 

(2) Add ad units

Once your app is created, you can click [Enter the app]-[Add Instance], and then add ad units

If you use a bidding ad source, the bidding type must be "bidding"

If you use a no-bidding ad source, the bidding type must be "waterfall".

 

Step3. Enable Xiaomi Columbus's Report API

(1) Please contact Xiaomi to obtain the Reporting API Token

(2) Enable Xiaomi Columbus's Report API in TopOn 

Log in to TopOn backend → Network →Monetization→ Add Network Account (Xiaomi Columbus) → Edit (activate reporting API)

Fill in the Reporting API Token

 

Step4. Configure Xiaomi Columbus network in TopOn

(1) Configure Xiaomi Columbus in the TopOn developer backend. The required Xiaomi Columbus parameters are as follows:

Parameter Name

Description

 App ID

Xiaomi Columbus generates an ID for each application, which is used for SDK initialization and API report pulling.

App Secret

Xiaomi Columbus generates an ID for each application, which is used for SDK initialization.

Ad Unit ID

Xiaomi Columbus generates a unique ID for each placement

 

(2) Get the App ID, App Secret and Ad Unit ID of Xiaomi Columbus

① Go to [Apps], where you can find the App ID and App Secret of each app.

② Click [Enter the app] and go to the Ad Units Management page, where you can find all ad unit IDs.

 

(2) Configure the Xiaomi Columbus parameters to the TopOn developer backend

Log in to TopOn backend → Network→Monetization → Ad source setting (Xiaomi Columbus) → Add ad source. Fill in the App ID, App Secret and ad unit ID obtained in the first step.

 

Step5. Add the Xiaomi Columbus Adapter to Your App Code
